Federal Flood Program

 

Waterstreet is an approved NFIP Vendor and welcomes clients interested in participating in the federal flood program either as a Write-Your-Own (“WYO”) carrier or through a relationship with a WYO. The benefit WaterStreet offers is in complete integration of the flood product. Flood is another product just like an HO6, with all your data stored in the same data base. Agents go to one system and call the same phone number. An agent can be prompted to ask if they would like to quote the flood policy. By electing to create a Flood quote, much of the property and policy owner information from the homeowners’ policy system can be pre-populated, saving the agent time and effort re-keying the same data. Key management and I.T. personnel at WaterStreet Company have been involved in the flood program since 1995.

 

The Flood Application can largely be pre-populated, a flood determination electronically obtained, and a premium quoted with great ease to the agent. Applications can be printed, policy premiums collected, and policies issued all through WaterStreet. Statistical and financial reporting to the carrier, the WYO and the National Flood Insurance Program are performed by WaterStreet.
